Academic English Skills

Enrol on our monthly programme of interactive online short courses and develop the academic skills and language you need to study successfully in English at AKU. We introduce a new topic monthly, offering online classes held on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Each topic consists of four classes.

We understand that studying in English at AKU can be challenging for many of you. You need to cope with the complexity of academic reading, understand lectures, participate in discussions, give presentations, and write in an appropriate academic style. Our monthly Academic English Skills short course series aims to support the enhancement of the key academic English language skills necessary to succeed in your studies at AKU.​
