Aga Khan University celebrated its 14th Convocation ceremony in Uganda on February 11, 2017 at Victoria Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel. Honourable Sarah Opendi, State Minister of Health (General Duties) graced the ceremony as the chief guest.
A total of 71 degrees and diplomas were awarded during this ceremony. School of Nursing and Midwifery conferred 23 graduates the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 27 graduates the Diploma in General Nursing. Institute for Educational Development conferred 21 graduates the degree of Master of Education.
Valedictory address was delivered by Kigoye Alex, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme.
