Convocation 2017​​

The Aga Khan University held its ​Convocation ceremony in Tanzania on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Diamond Jubilee Hall, Dar as Salaam. The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Mr Lila H Mkila, Deputy Governor for Financial Stability and Deepening, Bank of Tanzania.​

During the ceremony, a total of 48 students were honoured with degrees: 17 graduates from the School of Nursing and Midwifery received their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree; one graduate from the Medical College’s Master of Medicine programme received his degree; and 30 graduates from Institute for Educational Development received their Master of Education degree. 

​The traditional Valedictory Address was delivered by Luwilo Sanga, a graduate of the Master of Education programme.
