Convocation, Class of ​2021

​The Aga Khan University held its convocation ceremony ​on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Dr Peter Kalmus, climate scientist and author​, was the chief guest at the event where students in Pakistan received degrees and diplomas. ​

The School of Nursing and Midwifery conferred a total of 180 degrees, including 24 Master of Science in Nursing, 139 Bachelor of Science in Nursing and17 Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing.​

The Medical College conferred two Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences, nine Master of Science in Epide​​​​​miology and Biostatistics, seven Master of Science in Health Policy and Management, one Advanced Diploma ​in Health Professions Edu​cation​, six Master of Health Professions Education, three Master of Philosophy ​in Biological and​ Biomedical Sciences​ ​and 103 Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery​ degrees. Seven ​Diplomas in Dental Hygiene were also awarded. ​

The Institute for Educational Development conferred 23 degrees this year. The Master of Philosophy in Education to 14 and the Master of Education to nine students. 

The Global Valedictorian Adnan Ali Khan, Medical College in Pakistan, addressed the graduands.​
