Convocation 2014​

The Aga Khan University held its 27th Convocation Ceremony​ in Pakistan on Saturday, November 29, 2014.​

A total of 382 graduates were honoured by the members of Board of Trustees, alumni, faculty and staff of the University.

The Institute for Educational Development graduated 34 students including 3 Doctor of Philosophy (Education) and 31 Master of Education graduates.

The Medical College conferred a total of 161 degrees and diplomas which included: 3 Doctor of Philosophy (Health Sciences), 14 Master of Science, 17 Master of Bioethics, 6 Master of Health Professions Education, 102 Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees and 19 Advanced Diplomas.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery graduated 187 nurses and midwives​. Master of Science in Nursing degree was conferred upon 13 students, 153 students were conferred with the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 21 students received the Bachelor of Science in Midwifery degree being the first batch to graduate in this programme.

After the degrees were conferred, the University recognized the high achievers from the Medical College and the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The Best Graduate Awards were awarded to Aliza Hussain, MBBS and ​Kiran Salim Reimoo, BScN.​
