Unrestricted Fund

Unrestricted gifts are donations given for the broad goals of the University.

An example of an initiative to raise unrestricted support could be a:

• Prostrate Cancer Grateful Patient Programme as a window to support basic research

• Gifts to the Dean’s Fund that enable the Dean to recruit or retain talented faculty members

•  A gift to the Medical College which could enable our researchers to gather preliminary data needed to successfully compete for peer-reviewed grants.

 An unrestricted donation is a vote of confidence in the University Hospital.​​​​ ​​​​
