The department offers the following services to the faculty, students & staff.
Teaching & Learning Commons
In 1995, the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) was added to the university considering the need for a computer lab for students, faculty, and staff. However, the Learning Resource Centre has been transformed into a Teaching & Learning Commons (TLC) to enhance the experience of teaching and learning for Faculty, Students, and Staff of the university. The redesigned space has the facility of Hyflex teaching, and video conferencing facility is also available.
A wide range of colour and B&W printing from A0-A8, to B0-B10 size is available in this section. Lamination service of ID cards up to A3 size is also available.
The TLC is open 11 hours a day from 8am till 7pm 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday.
The space can be booked for teaching and training sessions and for group study. The space can also be used for individual study as and when available. The users are expected to follow the usage and booking guidelines.
Digital Designing
The creative team of this section provides total designing and multimedia production solutions, using computer applications such as Adobe Suite, Sony software collection etc., and produces high-quality posters, banners, brochures, flyers, illustrations, graphs, 2D animations, and multimedia presentations.

Photography
An experienced team of photographers has been contributing in many areas such as photography of teaching, research, and social events, this includes workshops, seminars and conferences, operating room procedures, clinical activities, marketing campaigns, construction activities, musical and social evenings.
A proper studio for digital photography has been setup in this section. Additionally, this section is growing by acquiring photo-quality color printers for in-house photo printing. Prior booking is required to use this facility.

Video Production
The video section produces documentaries, teaching/training, orientation & promotional films using high-definition cameras and the latest editing suite. This section also covers workshops, seminars, conferences, operating room procedures, clinical activities, marketing campaigns, construction activities, and musical and social evenings. In this section, a proper sound recording studio has been added. The facility of digital sound editing is also available here. Prior booking is required to use this facility.
Equipment Borrowing
Users can borrow equipment for teaching and learning purposes from TLC. Users are expected to confirm if the required equipment is available and to make an advance booking.

Audio Visual - IED section
The Audio Visual section at the Institute for Educational Development offers the following services to Faculty, Students and staff.
- Digital photography of conferences, seminars, workshops, social & cultural events
- Digital video production of conferences, seminars, workshops, social & cultural events, and the editing of these videos.
- Designing & printing of teaching / learning, research, marketing, other display & publication material.
Equipment borrowing facility provides Multimedia projectors, Laptop computers, Sound system with microphones, and Voice recorders are available for users upon request.
