​Strengthening Teacher Education in Pakistan

Through STEP we aimed to improve the:

  • performance of teacher education institutions in providing quality teacher education​;

  • performance of teachers and education managers in delivering and supporting quality teaching and learning; and

  • policies, practices and networking for the professional development of teachers, teacher educators and education managers.

Using the Cluster‐Based Mentoring and the Whole School Improvement models, we concentrated on strengthening the professional development and performance of teachers, head teachers, teacher educators, education managers, schools, education institutions and district level education administration departments.
