Teaching and Learning
The Teaching and Learning (TL) team aims to promote excellence in teaching to enhance the student learning experience by providing services, programmes, and support to faculty to develop their teaching practice.
The following are TL’s strategic goals:
1. Provide teaching and learning support to faculty.
2. Develop communities of practice around teaching excellence.
3. Promote the scholarship of teaching and learning.
4. Enable evaluation, accountability, and outreach on teaching and learning that is of and for the developing world.
Some of the flagship programs by the TL unit are Teaching and Learning Enhancement Workshop (TLEW), Re-Thinking Teaching (RTT), Faculty Orientation on Teaching and Learning (FOTL).
