​Internal Medicine​

The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, Section of Internal Medicine, housed within the Department of Medicine has a 1 full time faculty that supervises the internal medicine resident clinic providing care to patients with a variety of both acute and chronic complex illnesses focusing primarily on prevention.

Our resident run internal medicine clinic cater to patients with acute symptoms as well as chronic diseases.  We also ensure continuity of patient care by scheduling patients post hospital discharges.  We have a procedure clinic focusing on joint injections to help our patients with pain relief and to improve mobility.  Our clinic also assists with pre-operative consultation medicine.

The Section of Internal Medicine strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach and we strive to work closely with other providers including our nursing staff to ensure that our patients get the best care possible during their stay at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.

We closely work with our state of the art laboratory and radiology services to ensure excellent patient care.
