It has been another exciting week for DOM with the successful launch of the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) UK PACES examination at AKU in Nairobi. We are the first MRCP PACES site in sub-Saharan Africa! We are very proud to earn this distinction and to be able to offer the exam not only to our own residents but to other physicians and residents throughout Kenya and East Africa. 



Dr. John Weru's article on Daily Nation explains why modern medical knowledge coupled with the diversity of lifestyles and broad moral and religious values in modern societies have made medical involvement and decision-making processes associated with healthcare more complicated.
