
Training of Trainers: Capacity Building of Nurses and Midwives for COVID-19
Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) including nurses, midwives and lady
health visitors are recognized as the backbone of every healthcare system. Since, February 2020, these health professionals are at the forefront to
prevent, manage and control this pandemic crisis at various healthcare settings
around the world. Thus, it is imperative to prepare frontline healthcare workers to deal
with COVID-19 cases, and to better protect themselves from the infection.
The project proposes an integrated approach by synergizing the capabilities of nursing cadre, academia, regulatory bodies and funding agencies to address the issue. In doing so, this initiative will also prevent, manage and control the COVID-19 cases efficiently across the healthcare system in Pakistan.
WORKSHOPS
This simulation-based series of virtual trainings will build the capacity of healthcare professionals including nurses, midwives and lady health visitors as well as nurse educators and leaders in order to effectively respond to the COVID-19 crisis.
Participants will receive free resource material and a certificate of participation at the end of the training.
