The Academic Writing course is designed to equip the learners of the MScN programme with the necessary English Language skills in academic and research writing. The course will facilitate learners in paraphrasing, summarizing and synthesizing information, getting familiar with APA style of writing. In addition, the learners will get the opportunity to learn to write Academic Blog Post for the digital environment.
More specifically, this course will enable the learners to use English for research when they write their research thesis using formal academic rhetoric and organizational skills in accordance with the guidelines specified by the American Psychological Association.
Eligibility:
Sixteen years of education – an undergraduate degree from an accredited /recognized university
Application Process:
Complete the Visiting Student Application Form and submit via email: visiting.application@aku.edu along with the following (in PDF files) before the deadline:
- Completed and signed application form along with photograph
- Attested copy of degree and marks sheet of sixteen years of schooling in the relevant field as mentioned in the criteria.
- Attested copy of CNIC / Passport
- Attested copy of work experience letter.
Interested candidates are encouraged to ensure that their applications are duly completed, as incomplete applications will not be processed.
Kindly note, AKU may request for additional documentation or equivalence certificate to seek clarity on your qualification.
