Allergic conditions are common in childhood and those affected usually have more than one type of allergy. The Paediatric Allergy Clinic is run by a paediatric allergologist. The clinic offers integrated management of the different allergic conditions that may be present in the same individual. The diagnosis of these conditions is based on a detailed history, clinical exam and allergy tests where appropriate. Types of allergy tests available at Aga Khan University Hospital include skin prick, specific antibody levels in the blood and provocation challenges. Different allergic conditions require specific types of tests. The allergy clinic runs on Mondays, Thursdays and alternate Saturday mornings. Appointment bookings are made on weekdays from 9am – 4 pm on the number 0711 09 2591/2790.  The allergic conditions are listed below:
