Noor Fatima completed her M.Phil. in Molecular Medicine at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD), ICCBS, University of Karachi, where she investigated UV-induced cellular damage and the photoprotective potential of novel synthetic compounds. Her research involved extensive work in cell culture, molecular biology techniques, drug screening assays, and mechanistic evaluation of cellular stress responses, resulting in peer-reviewed international publications. Noor joined CRM in 2025 as a research associate, where she is taking care of the induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) research lab facility at CRM. In this role, she oversees iPSC culture and maintenance, reprogramming workflows, and laboratory standardization. She is particularly interested in the areas related to iPSC research, disease modeling using stem cells, and colorectal cancer.
