CIME in Nairobi concludes its first faculty training programme

 

CIME concluded its first action-packed Clinical Simulation Educators Programme (CSEP) in Nairobi. Doctors and nurses travelled from Uganda and Tanzania to join their Kenyan colleagues in AKU. Breast Cancer Awareness Gala

 

The Aga Khan Health board for Karimabad organised an awareness gala in collaboration with the Aga Khan Health Services Pakistan to raise awareness regarding breast cancer and its prevention in the community. CIME in collaboration with SPIE, contributed by demonstrating the steps of breast self-examination using the task-trainer to the women of the community.

 

The gala was a huge success and was attended by over 700 people. The breast self-examination station gathered the most attention and received positive feedback from participants as they practiced the self-breast examination techniques and got feedback from the experts.

Paediatric Trauma and Life Support

 

Managing trauma in the paediatric population requires specialised skills and expertise. Newborn AIMS

 

​​Respiratory distress in newborns can be effectively treated if caught early.
