Norah Matheka
Executive Assistant
Norah Matheka is an accomplished administrator with more than 20 years of professional experience in research administration, grants coordination and office management. She brings extensive expertise in supporting senior leadership, streamlining operations and ensuring organizational efficiency. At BMI, she provides high-level executive support to the Director, including calendar and travel management, office administration, and coordination of strategic meetings and engagements.
Norah holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Daystar University. Her career spans senior administrative roles in international NGOs, academic institutions, and research organizations, including Aga Khan University and the University of Washington.
She is motivated by a commitment to excellence, operational efficiency, and the creation of systems that enable leaders and teams to perform at their best.
Norah has been recognized for outstanding service and leadership, and she contributes actively to professional and voluntary initiatives, including serving as Treasurer of the AKUH Christian Fellowship.
