The African College of Neuropsychopharmacolo gy (AfCNP) is dedicated to delivering evidence-based psychopharmacology information to healthcare practitioners, trainees, service users, and stakeholders across Africa. Our membership comprises scientists from diverse neuroscience disciplines, including behavioral pharmacology, clinical psychopharmacology, and molecular biology, among others.
Mission and Objectives
The AfCNP focuses on two primary pillars: research and education.In research, we foster interdisciplinary collaboration to advance neuroscience applications in studying and treating mental illnesses. Educationally, we inspire and mentor young scientists to pursue careers in neuropsychopharmacology while promoting accurate information dissemination on psychiatric disorders and treatments.
