Clinical Trial Manager
Francis Angira is a licensed clinician with a master’s degree in public health (Epidemiology) and is currently pursuing his PhD. He has extensive experience in the design, execution, monitoring, and close-out of large-scale, multi-country clinical studies, with strong adherence to International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use – Good Clinical Practice guidelines (ICH-GCP), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Division of AIDS (DAIDS), and other regulatory and ethical standards. His background includes advanced scientific training, leadership experience, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Francis joins BMI as a Clinical Trial Manager, where he oversees the planning, implementation, and management of clinical trials. He ensures compliance with regulatory and ethical requirements while managing timelines and coordinating all project deliverables for the multi-national AFRICA-FINGERS Project. His work directly supports BMI’s mission to advance research on neurological disorders and improve brain health across the region.
