Tanzania Partners: 

AKU Tanzania partnerships are intended for collaborative research projects and provide opportunities for students and staff from partner institutions to conduct field study projects on AKU-ACER land sites. Current partners include:

  • Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) located in Arusha.

  • University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in Dar es Salaam

  • Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro

  • Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI)


International Partners

ACER has an excellent reputation for long-standing partnerships with international universities, colleges, and other education providers. These partnerships are crucial for strategic collaboration across a wide range of scientific enquiry, applied research, capacity development programs and community engagement. Generally, the partnerships provide the opportunity for both staff and students from any partner university around the world to participate in our field school program conducted in a real world setting at our Arusha land-based assets.
