Kevin K’orimba
Clinical Trial Manager
Dr. Kevin K’Orimba is a public health specialist and clinical trial manager for the AFRICA-FINGERS Study, a multinational initiative promoting healthy brain aging in sub-Saharan Africa through multimodal, evidence-based interventions. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of South Wales, UK.
He brings a strong background in clinical trials, implementation science, and translating research into policy and practice. Prior to joining the team, Dr. K’Orimba led the CATALYST Study at LVCT Health, which explored the introduction of innovative long-acting HIV prevention technologies, integrating mental health components into biomedical strategies.
Dr. K’Orimba has contributed to a wide range of studies, including malaria prevention and treatment (MAL094, MAB, EPI003, EPI005), COVID-19 response (NOVATION-1), and non-communicable disease surveillance (HDSS). His work extends beyond research into health systems strengthening, having supported the development of key national and regional policy frameworks such as the Kenya National Immunization Policy Guidelines, the Malaria Vaccine Rollout strategy, and the National SRH-HIV-TB Integration Framework.
His passion lies in generating and applying evidence to inform impactful health interventions and improve outcomes across communities.
