Elizabeth Ayuo
Clinical Research Regulatory Manager
Elizabeth Ayuo is a seasoned clinical research professional with nearly two decades of experience advancing research quality, compliance and regulatory standards across Africa. She holds a master’s degree in project planning and management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
Elizabeth has previously worked at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) as a Records Officer before moving into quality assurance and regulatory affairs. She has also served as Regional Regulatory Officer at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), where she contributed to strengthening regulatory capacity across the Africa region.
At the Brain and Mind Institute, Elizabeth supports study teams in ensuring high-quality research through effective monitoring, adherence to regulatory standards and strong documentation practices; an area she is particularly passionate about.
Elizabeth is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and the African Clinical Research Association (ACRA).
