Anum brings expertise in healthcare administration and operational efficiency, with experience spanning both clinical and academic environments.
At the Brain and Mind Institute (BMI), she supports administrative operations and coordinates activities across research and educational programs. She contributes to initiatives focused on mental health and public health, with a strong interest in systems that enhance service delivery and program impact.
Anum holds an MBA in Health and Hospital Management from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM). She began her career at the Aga Khan University Clinical Laboratory, later moving to the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education before joining BMI. Her capstone project explored the determinants of work-related stress among nurses, a topic closely tied to workforce well-being and mental health.
She is passionate about building effective systems to strengthen healthcare delivery, research, and public health outcomes. Anum also has a strong interest in organizational development and enjoys working within multidisciplinary teams. Outside of work, she is committed to continuous learning and innovation in healthcare management.
