Research
Until 2016, AKU-SONAM East Africa faculty had published 62
articles in scientific journals, 2 book chapters and 1 book, and
presented 17 posters in national and international congresses.
The
themes of the published articles include: maternal, neonatal and child
health; nursing education; HIV/ AIDS, diabetes and endocrinology; oncology; healthcare systems and issues of nursing management.
