The Matiari Research & Training Centre (MRTC) organized a Grant Writing Workshop on August 25, 2023. Faculty members from MRTC, LUMHS, and AKMCC attended the event.

The workshop aimed to give participants the essential skills and knowledge to write compelling grant proposals. It covered many topics, including classical grant writing techniques, the use of AI tools, and the proposal assessment process.

The workshop was divided into three sessions. The first session was led by Dr. Zehra Jamil, who discussed the classical framework for writing grant proposals. The second session, led by Dr. Sheraz Ahmed, explored using AI tools in grant writing. The final session, led by Dr. Junaid Iqbal, focused on the proposal assessment process.

In addition to the formal sessions, there were breakout sessions where participants could network and discuss their experiences with grant writing.

The workshop was a valuable opportunity for participants to learn about grant writing and network with other field professionals. The skills and knowledge gained from the workshop will help participants secure funding for their research and other projects.
