1. When does registration for the RSC-2026 conference open?
Conference registration will begin on January 1, 2026. Full details, including the registration link, guidelines, and important deadlines, will be posted on the official conference website. Please follow our website and LinkedIn page for updates. 


2. Is registration open for the pre-conference workshops?
Yes, registration for the pre-conference workshops is currently open. Information on available workshops, eligibility criteria, and the application process can be found on the official conference website​. ​


3. What documents are required to apply for the workshops?
Applicants must upload one PDF file that includes:

  • An updated CV

  • A brief motivation letter (maximum 350 words)

4. Is there a registration fee for the workshops?
Yes, a registration fee applies to the pre-conference workshops. After submitting an application, shortlisted candidates will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. Only selected participants will be invited to proceed with fee submission. More details are available here


5. Is there a registration fee for the main conference?
Yes, the main conference requires a registration fee. Information on rates and payment procedures will be announced when registration opens on January 1, 2026. Updates will be shared via the official website​


6. Are students eligible to attend the conference?
Yes. Undergraduate and postgraduate students (MSc, MPhil, PhD), as well as early-career researchers, are strongly encouraged to participate in both the conference and workshops.


7. Can participants attend without presenting research?
Yes. Individuals may register as non-presenting participants for the conference and workshops, subject to seat availability.


8. Are there eligibility requirements for the workshops?
Yes. Due to limited capacity and the hands-on nature of the workshops, applicants from life sciences, biotechnology, medicine, or related fields will be given preference. Final selection is made by the workshop organizing committee.


9. Can more than one student from the same institution apply?
Yes. Multiple applicants from the same institution or academic program are welcome to apply.


10. Will co-authors receive recognition?
Yes. All listed co-authors will be acknowledged in the official abstract booklet and conference records. However, only the registered presenting author will deliver the presentation.


11. Will co-authors receive certificates and participate in Q&A sessions?
For abstracts with multiple authors, only one individual may be designated as the presenting author in the submission system.

  • Recognition: All co-authors will be acknowledged in the abstract booklet and official conference documentation.

  • Certificates: Certificates will be issued only to the presenting author.

  • Q&A Participation: Only the designated presenting author may respond to questions during oral or lightning talk sessions.


​​12. Can participants join the workshops or conference online?
No. All pre-conference workshops and the main conference require in-person participation. Attendance is mandatory at the venue for both workshops and conference sessions. ​

13. Can I apply for more than one workshop?
Yes you can apply. You will have to submit separate forms for each workshop. However, your selection will be subject to evaluation by the the workshop organzing committee.  ​​

14. Will I get certificate of participation in the conference and/or workshop?

Yes, participants will be provided with an e-certificate. However, upon special request, a hard copy of the certificate can also be issued.


​​15. Will travel and accommodation expenses be covered?

No. Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel and accommodation expenses.​​
