Communications for HR Professionals

Today’s HR professionals are expected to do more than manage people — they are key communicators, change agents, and culture builders within their organisations. Yet many early to mid-career HR practitioners report challenges in delivering feedback, resolving conflict, and communicating strategically.

This immersive, practice-based course equips HR professionals in Kenya with the tools to lead with confidence, influence effectively, and support high-performance, inclusive workplace cultures. Through case-based learning, group exercises, and expert-led sessions, participants will build the communication capacity needed to navigate complex dynamics, foster trust, and drive meaningful change.

Co-designed by the Graduate School of Media and Communications (GSMC) and the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), the course reflects the realities of the Kenyan HR context and strengthens professional practice nationwide.
