Responsibilities

Responsible for looking after the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of assigned children, implementing the ECD programme and providing a safe and developmentally appropriate environment in accordance with institutional policies and procedures.
 
You will specifically be repponsible for;
  • looking after the assigned children and ensures that their physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs are met, in line with the Centre’s policies and procedures
  • implementing developmentally appropriate and educationally enriching ECD programme for assigned children
  • ensuring changing and diapering of the assigned children
  • supporting and promotes each child’s physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
  • communicating regularly with parents to keep them up-to-date with their children’s care and progress, as well as apprise them of any issues
  • ensuring the safety, orderliness, sanitation, and cleanliness of the premises and facilities
  • assisting with the admission process for children
  • maintaining accurate records on children’s development, immunization and general health, etc.

Requirements

You should have/be:
  • bachelor’s degree
  • additional qualifications in ECD will be preferred
  • at least one to two years of relevant experience in school, early care centre or similar environment
  • knowledge of child care practices
  • effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu
  • skills in resolving conflicts among young children
  • compassionate and caring attitude.
