Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:
  • provide administrative services that includes registration, HHS management system, email and handling phone calls
  • coordinate with patient family for request receive and assign patient to staff accordingly
  • registration confirmation and record medical/surgical items in system
  • liaison with clinical and support services, as and when required
  • handle complaints
  • facilitate patients/relatives/visitors as required 
  • provide daily administrative report to the management. 

Requirements

You should have:
  • a Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of front desk or customer services experience (preferred)
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • knowledge and proficiency in basic computer application such as Microsoft Office
  • ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • ability to remain tactful, patient and calm in stressful situations
  • ability to problem-solve using creative and critical thinking skills
  • willingness to work in shifts.
