The Department of Oncology offers comprehensive cancer care services to all patients. The services are provided through multidisciplinary teams. Infrastructure facilities include a daycare setting dedicated to oncology patients. Outpatient facilities include clinics of Medical Oncology, Haematology, Paediatric Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Palliative Care. The Department has 16 full-time faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency programmmes are offered in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Clinical Haematology Oncology, and a fellowship programme in Paediatric Oncology.
