Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital invite applications for the position of Assistant, Clinical Laboratory.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

 

  • sort and dispatch lab tests reports to section of clinical laboratories and to collection points for timely deliver
  • enter data pertaining to the patient and test into computer or manually according to laboratory protocol
  • manage transporters rounds for sample collection from all phlebotomy stations, lab clients and cargo services
  • maintain and file all records
  • receive and dispatch cooler to collection points according the schedule.
  • receive and dispatch IT & BME assets to the collection points
  • maintain and file leave records of the staff as per institutional policy
  • arrange meetings for the department as per the schedule.

 


Requirements

You should have:
  • an Intermediate certificate, Graduate preferred
  • two to three years of related experience preferred but not essential
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • good computer skills
  • willingness to work in shift duties.
