Introduction:

The Department of Psychiatry has on board five full time psychiatrists and two full time psychologists, as well as two part-time psychiatrists and one part-time psychologist. Two of the faculty members are trained child psychiatrists and one faculty member specializes in psychiatry of the elderly. The psychiatric services include a 18-bedded acute care short-term adult psychiatric unit, a day care programme, 24 hours emergency service, and consultation/referral service, in addition to 33 weekly outpatient clinics. An occupational therapy programme is attached to the inpatient and day care services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:-

  • Overall managementing and supervision of research project and research staff.
  • Visiting field sites with felid staff on daily basis.
  • Management of data and analysis.
  • Assist and logistics management of day to day activities and organize meetings with stakeholders.
  • Coordinating monthly meeting and prepare and circulate meeting minutes related to research.
  • Compliance of study SoPs and International GCP.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the PI.

Requirements

Requirements:

You should have:-

  • Masters in Social Sciences or MSc.
  • At least two years of research experience including monitoring and evaluation, and community based field work.
  • Basic Knowledge of survey and other research designs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication (verbal and written)
  • Excellent Team Player
  • Familiar with Statistical programs such as SPSS, EpiData, Nvivo, EndNote.
  • Data analysis and interpretation in terms of report writing and biostatics
  • Manuscript writing
  • Familiarity with PubMed, Google Scholar, Pak Medinet, Science Direct etc.
