• ensure safety and security of  area of responsibility , AKU assets and Staff and visors  at -FAS and other land banking areas of AKU
• perform duty at assigned post for the duration of his duty , including patrolling of defined area
• follow instruction & assist FAS Security Supervisor in security duties
• assist visitors/students when called for security assistance
• control the visitors, traffic at AKU FAS land by checking to ensure identity and control of unauthorized persons/trespassing
• check I D cards of the staff, faculty and students to control unauthorized movement by employees and visitors at FAS
• respond to all emergency & assist in fire and other emergencies at FAS site
• on detection Report all suspicious acts and baggage to the Security Supervisor
• check gate passes when deployed on gates or other locations to ensure that no item goes out of FAS without due authority
• report all incidents, taking place in his area of responsibility and at FAS, to FAS Security Supervisor
• perform duty on other land banking areas as instructed / scheduled 
• perform any task assigned to him by FAS Supervisor/Coordinator/ /Manager
