We aim to enhance students' university experience by creating an inclusive environment that helps build relationships, promotes a sense of belonging, encourages personal growth, and strengthens both interpersonal and professional skills.
The Student Affairs team provides opportunities that help students develop the following qualities:
Self-Reliance: We encourage and support students in gaining independence by offering new experiences, responsibilities, relationships, and exposure to different ideas, people, and environments. We also help students connect their personal and social responsibilities to the AKU community.
Passion and Purpose: We support students in discovering and nurturing their passions, both personally and professionally, through positive engagement on campus.
Courtesy and Respect: We promote treating everyone in the community with kindness, respect, and consideration, regardless of differences in beliefs or opinions.
Community and Connection: We encourage students to connect and share ideas both inside and outside the classroom, fostering meaningful relationships and a strong sense of community pride.
