​Center for Clinical Best Practices

Date of Inception: ​June 2020

The CITRIC Center for Clinical Best Practices (CCBP) is pioneering the adaptation of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for Pakistan; to help standar​dize and improve the quality of care across the country.

CCBP’s objectives are to:

  1. Create a repository of evidence-based, best clinical practices for LMICs and publish them in the AKU Manual of Therapeutics.

  2. Establish a robust research and methodology center in collaboration with the US GRADE​​ Network. 

  3. Collaborate with other institutions throughout the region to build expertise in guideline development​.
