Abstracts should be submitted under one of the following sub-themes:
The Presenting Author must submit the abstract and is required to be the corresponding author for that abstract.
All abstracts must be received by the submission deadline which is 30th June 2025 (by 23:59hrs PKT and 21:59 EAT) to be included in the review
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
The abstract should align with one of the conference sub-themes.
The abstract should not exceed 2000 characters including spaces and excluding title and references.
It should include 4 sub-headings: background, methods, results, and conclusion.
Abstracts must contain a minimum of 1 reference and a maximum of 3 references cited using the APA referencing system.
Other information required includes title (maximum 20 words), declaration of conflict of interest, ethics approval, details of authors and presenting author, and which city you would like to present in case of acceptance.
All submissions will be reviewed for poster presentations. The top scoring submissions will be invited in the category of oral presentations.
All correspondence relating to submission will be sent to the abstract submitter only.
All abstracts will undergo blinded review.
The decision of the scientific committee regarding acceptance or rejection is final.
The submitter does not have to be the presenter, any of the authors can present on the day.
A maximum of 6 authors can be listed. If you have more than 6 authors, please use the et al function.
Authors should be restricted to anyone who has/will directly contribute to writing the abstract, preparing or delivering the presentation. For large, collaborative projects additional contributors should be acknowledged in the presentation if it is accepted.
Please do not include your title (e.g., Dr, Prof) or any post-nominals (e.g., MD, PhD) when adding contributors/presenters.
Authors should mention the name of their respective affiliate institution.
By submitting your abstract, you agree that minor changes may be made by the reviewing team in terms of punctuation, grammar, etc.
Conference registration is mandatory to present oral/poster presentations at the conference.
