The Art and Science of 3-D Bioprinting
Unlock the Next Dimension of Biomedical Research
Pre-Conference Workshop
Recent advances in regenerative medicine offers potential approaches to restoring the function of damaged tissues and organs. 3-D bioprinting is a core application used for regenerative medicine including but not limited to scaffold printing and fabricating complex, biomimetic tissue systems with control over the spatiotemporal placement of cells and biomaterials in a layer-by-layer process.
This full day workshop will provide the particpants with a comprehensive, practical hands-on experience with the 3-D Bioprinter and its applications. The sessions will cover a step by step approach from concepts to a fully characterized 3-D construct bioprinting enabling the participants to leverage these skills for innovative projects at the nexus of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
