I am Dr. Muneeba Amin a Senior Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry, Aga Khan University Hospital. I completed my MBBS at Jinnah Sindh Medical University (formerly SMC) and later pursued my training in General Adult Psychiatry at Aga Khan University, and successfully cleared the FCPS II in Psychiatry.

With a strong clinical foundation, I have developed expertise in managing complex psychiatric cases and have dedicated myself to teaching medical students and psychiatry residents. My primary academic and clinical interests lie in reproductive psychiatry, with a particular focus on addressing mental health challenges faced by women. I am committed to bridging the existing gaps in this area through research, education, and training.

In addition, I have developed a culturally sensitive perinatal psychiatry module for psychiatry residents to enhance their understanding and improve patient care. I have presented at both national and international conferences and have published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. My research covers a range of mental health topics, with a special emphasis on perinatal mental health.
