​This is a two and a half-year programme designed to prov​ide senior registered nurses with an opportunity to upgrade their diploma qualification to d​egree level.​ ​It provides ​them​ an opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide holistic nursing care. ​​​​

The programme offers need-based financ​​​​​​ial assistance. ​​​​

Admissions​​​ 

For the 2026 admission cycle, applications for admission will commence on December 5, 2025, and the deadline for submission of applications will be March 27, 2026.​

​Eligibility Criteria​

  • ​​​​​Form IV level of education​ with a minimum​ aggregate score of C plain in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Division II in Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE)​​​

  • Must be a holder of Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) or Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN)

  • ​​​Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and hold a current practice license​

  • ​​​Must have a minimum of two (2) years of practice experience
