The Department of Anaesthesiology at Aga Khan University is committed to providing clinical excellence in perioperative care as well as the training of future anaesthesiologists. Our team of trained and well-experienced anaesthesiologists aims to provide best possible patient care not only in the operation theatres but also beyond it. With current 39 clinical faculty our department is one of the biggest Anaesthesia department in country, our faculty is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and our programs are recognized at national and international level.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Data Collector in Anaesthesiology.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for: 

• collecting data from different areas of the Hospital as per the directives and guidance from Clinical Section Heads
• maintaining collected data in SPSS
• assisting Clinical Section Heads in reporting and analyzing the data
• ensuring the confidentiality of the data collected
• any other task as assigned by the Clinical Section Heads.

Requirements

You must have:

Intermediate (Pre-Medical), Bachelor’s will be preferred
at least one year of relevant experience in healthcare or research will be preferred
proficiency in utilizing computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and other relevant tools and applications
Working knowledge of SPSS will be an added advantage
ability to learn quickly and follow instructions
ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
effective communication skills and demonstratable professional integrity
aptitude to give oral instructions / information to patients or their families in English and / or Urdu.
