The Department of Anaesthesiology at Aga Khan University is committed to providing clinical excellence in perioperative care as well as the training of future anaesthesiologists. Our team of trained and well-experienced anaesthesiologists aims to provide best possible patient care not only in the operation theatres but also beyond it. With current 39 clinical faculty our department is one of the biggest Anaesthesia department in country, our faculty is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education and our programs are recognized at national and international level.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Data Collector in Anaesthesiology.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for: 
  • collecting data from various sources such as records/databases/other relevant sources
  • verifying the accuracy and completeness of the data collected
  • reviewing medical records of patients and obtain the information required for the study/research
  • organizing and entering the data into a database or spreadsheet/system and updating it as needed
  • communicating with team members to clarify data requirements or resolve issues
  • ensuring the confidentiality of the data collected
  • any other logistics support that may be needed for the work/project.

Requirements

You must have:
  • minimum Intermediate, with science background will be preferred
  • at least one year of relevant experience in healthcare or research will be preferred
  • proficiency in utilizing computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and other relevant tools and applications 
  • ability to learn quickly and follow the instructions
  • ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment
  • effective Communication Skills and Demonstrate Professional Integrity 
  • aptitude to give oral instructions/information patients families in English and/or Urdu.
