The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.
The Division of Pharmacy is a large multisite integrated service with a state of the art medication management system and strong emphasis on pharmaceutical care & clinical pharmacy practices. The services are centred at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Stadium Road Campus, Joint Commission International Accredited (JCIA) facility offering; Inpatient and Outpatient Satellites Pharmacies Distribution, Point of Care Pharmacotherapy Rounds, Drug and Poison Information Centre (DPIC), Pharmacokinetics Consults and one year duration post Pharm .D academic program to train hospital pharmacists.
