Introduction

The Kidney & Bladder Service Line continuously works to enhance the services by pursuing excellence in education, clinical research and medical technology. Our highly qualified team consists of Nephrologists (kidney specialists), Urologists (specialists in bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs) and internationally trained Renal Transplant Surgeons.

The Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Senior Assistant, Kidney & Bladder Service Line.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:
  • answer incoming and outgoing phone calls, communicates the same to concerned staff and takes actions as instructed
  • communicate messages promptly and accurately to the supervisor and others in order to help in the maintenance of smooth functioning of the service line 
  • keep track of supervisor's schedules, meetings and appointments
  • arrange travel plans and compiles all documents for travel
  • assist in time administration in PeopleSoft and other task as assigned by supervisor
  • prepare drafts of memos, letters, presentations, education material and reports on routine and ad hoc activities of the department
  • update service line reports on ongoing basis
  • raise MSR/PR/ ROPs online as requested
  • maintain indicators and information dashboards
  • arrange logistics for academic activities, CMEs, keep records and attendance
  • arrange logistics for sectional and service line meeting and take meeting minutes
  • assist in coordinating special projects and events as assigned by supervisor
  • coordinate with support services departments including HR, Finance, Purchase, warehouse, Facilities Management Department, etc for any related issues and assignments
  • follow up on all marketing and promotion activities and update website and Service Line webpages at intervals
  • participate and facilitate JCIA and quality related activities
  • maintain and manage email, Teams and Whastapp groups and Service line patient care helplines and emails.

Requirements

You should have:
  • Graduate Degree
  • atleast 2 years of relevant experience
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • track record of mastering new tasks with little or no supervision
  • good knowledge of use of computer and basic softwares
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure
  • good command on MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), SPSS and Visio
  • willing to do shift duties as required by the organisation.
