Promoting Research in the area of Vitamin D
The Aga Khan University Department of Continuing Professional Education is accredited by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and the American Association of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) to provide continuing medical education. Vitamin D Deficiency is stated to be highly prevalent in the region, but our understanding of the magnitude, risk factors, diagnostic criteria and ideal treatment is quite limited. We are therefore organizing a workshop so that we may all share our understanding of the current state of knowledge and build our capacity to intensify our research in this important area.
