Critical Creative Innovative Thinking

Although the last few decades have seen exponential growth in biomedicine and healthcare globally, there remains a tremendous need for creative and innovative solutions to those myriad problems. Hence, the Critical Creative Innovative Thinking (CCIT) forum was founded at AKU in December 2013 by two final year MBBS students - Faysal Subhani and Kanwal Nayani - and their faculty advisor Asad I. Mian. It was meant to be a modest attempt to nurture a culture of curiosity, multi-disciplinary dialogue and student-led creativity and innovation around topics of health and disease relevant to Pakistan and other Low-Middle Income countries.
