This year, the Summer Programme will take education and Muslim communities as its theme. Co-sponsored by the Centre for the Study of Muslim Societies and Cultures (Simon Fraser University) and AKU-ISMC and held at ISMC’s central-London location at 210 Euston Road, the programme will run from 6-11 July 2015.
The course will be suitable for a wide range of professionals, including those in education, public sector, NGOs and charities who have an interest in Muslim cultures.
The week will be devoted to introducing some key aspects of the historical and contemporary experience of Muslim communities and cultures in different contexts worldwide, both where Muslims are a majority and in a minority and will feature content carefully designed to support and develop professionals and those with an interest in Muslim societies.
