The Aga Khan University (International) in the United Kingdom Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations (AKU-ISMC) has undergone a review for the purposes of educational oversight by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and has received its final report, which is available in full at:

The quality of the information about learning opportunities meets UK expectations.
The enhancement of student learning opportunities meets UK expectations.
The QAA review team also provided a commentary on academic standards.
The provider satisfactorily manages its responsibilities for academic standards, as set out in contractual arrangements with its academic partners.

UK NARIC, the British agency which has responsibility for advising on comparability of qualifications, has confirmed that the AKU-ISMC’s MA in Muslim Cultures is comparable to a British Masters and to level 7 in the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI)
AKU-ISMC holds a UKVI Tier 4 Sponsor Licence. This Sponsor's Licence permits AKU-ISMC to issue a confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) to prospective students. A CAS is required for any non-EEA international student seeking to obtain visa entry clearance to the UK.
