Designed for educators, school leaders and teachers, the symposium provides an opportunity to:

  • Deliberate on how to enable children to shape a better future for themselves and their communities in the face of uncertainties and unforeseen challenges;
  • Discuss how teachers can help children to develop the right mindset and skills to deal with the challenges of diversity, inequality, conflict, violence, shrinking resources and recurring natural and human disasters; and
  • Debate on what relevant education would look like in an increasingly uncertain world.

The symposium will also enable educators to network with peer educators and school systems and learn from a diverse range of experiences.

Teachers, educators, school leaders, education officials and development professionals working for the cause of education

Registration fee

Rs 500/- per participant 

Accommodation for participants from outside Karachi

Participants from outside Karachi will have to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements to attend the symposium.

You can register online or download the registration form and send it with your complete details to the following address. You may send the payment as a Bank Draft in favour of the ‘Aga Khan University’. Please enclose the proof of payment with the registration form.
