Pearl Gan is a well renowned photographer in the Asia pacific region. She has worked with leading Asian Malarialogist in the region. Highlighting the invisible and sometimes neglected effects of disease like malaria.   By visual display the impact of this disease on people’s lives is highlighted by her expert photography. AKU and Pearl Gan are collaborating in projects and hope to bring these to fruition.

Objectives

  • Increase awareness about Malaria
  • Visual and graphic display of how malaria affects people
  • Invisible and hidden impact of malaria on people’s lives
