Workshops on Techniques in Molecular Biology

Molecular biology techniques have several applications, ranging from discovery of biological processes to informing disease diagnosis, prognosis and customized treatment. The series will serve as an introduction for participants to establish a basis in molecular biology techniques that can be developed further through additional reading and research.

Workshop III: Protein extraction, visualization and downstream applications
The aim of the current workshop is to:
  • Discuss the theoretical underpinning of extraction, quantification, and visualization of proteins
  • Provide hands-on experience of protein extraction and downstream steps/applications
